Streiflicht
Den Windeln gerade entwachsen hört er die Platten von Jean Michelle Jarre auf dem alten Plattenspieler seiner Eltern – Liebe auf den ersten Punch! Er lernt Gitarre spielen und hangelt sich von Trance über die typischen 90′er Jahre Dancefloor Sounds bis hin zu House, Techno und der kompletten Bandbreite der elektronischen Tanzmusik. Das Produzieren beginnt im zarten Alter von 12 Jahren mit dem einschlägig bekannten Samplebausteinprogramm Magix Music Maker. Doch das zusammenfügen von Samples reicht ihm nicht. Melodien entstehen am Klavier und wollen umgesetzt werden. Der Stil von Streiflicht ist nicht fest zu legen. Mal Techno-, mal Houselastiger und fast immer mit einer Priese von atmosphärischen Trancesounds und Worldmusik versehen manifestiert sich so ein Hörerlebnis das immer etwas Abseits von der Masse liegt, seine Hörer aber findet.
As a little boy, fascinated by his parents’ old record player, he picks up a Jean Michelle Jarre vinyl and listens to it – he falls in love instantly. He learns to play guitar and works his way through the dancefloor sounds of the 90′s, trance, house and techno, covering the whole array of electronic dance music. He starts producing at the early age of 12, using the digital music editor Magix Music Maker. But the combining of samples just isn’t enough. He creates his own melodies on the piano and includes them in his tracks. Streiflicht cannot be reduced to a single style. A consistent variation of techno and house sounds are met by an unmistakable touch of atmospheric world music and parts of trance. Its acoustic experience is also enjoyed by crowds far off from today’s typical club mainstream.
